Avoid Chicken And Kpomo Meats.

At somewhere in Eleme, Rivers State, people have dug and excavated, buried contaminated chickens for food.

In Ogun State, the government has raised alarm over toxic hides skin (kpomo meats) in their markets.

For health reasons avoid these meats, if you’re on these states.

New Biafran Agitation, What if?

Watching the pro Biafran agitation on 6th November, 2015. Series of thoughts were going on, in my mind. What if, these agitators, are using their energies and resources to push for the reformation of Nigeria on the lines of true federal system or confederal system. That way, the entire nation, in search of this particular reform would key in and thus help push for this change. Make no mistake, other zones wants true federal system. Above all, APC promised true federalism.

What if, new Biafran agitators, are using all their resources, energies and mobilizations, to engage the South East governments, including all local government Chairmen, State, Federal Lawmakers and Governors. Sustain this agitation, then you will see instant changes.

What if, these agitators use all their resources etc to fight insecurity and decide to end insecurity once and for all at South East? What if, these agitators, decides to elect their own candidates to manage the governments of South East or don’t you know it’s possible. What if, these agitators float their own political party, elect people, and mandate them to speak on their behalf for reformation of Nigeria.

What if these agitators mobilize and build the best hospitals, schools, universities, etc in South East. So far, so much millions of naira/dollars/euros/pounds have been contributed to leaders of these new Biafran groups (MASSOB, IPOB, BZM). What if, they use their medium to preach love and unity of Igbos? What if those pro Biafran agitators overseas, begin to source and drive investments to South East or begins to import South East products (Abakaliki rice, Aba shoes, etc) to the foreign countries where they reside. What if these pro Biafran agitators engage in different types of community services in South East? What if they begin to promote tourism in South East?

What if, these pro Biafran agitators realize that South East is far better than most tribes in terms of developments etc, this is despite the marginalization. What if, these agitators realise that South East, can further be transformed into Japan of Africa, with little or no federal government inputs. What if, what ifs, and what ifs. However, it’s not late to change course. Sadly two pro Biafran agitators were killed today at Onitsha. The author warned about possible loss of lives during this protest.

Fire Prevention In Nigeria (Public And Private Places).

In view of the fire that consumed Ebeano Supermarket, Lekki, Lagos State and numerous past incidents. The following measures are urgently recommended.

1.Fire assessments: Landlords, tenants, builders etc must henceforth carry out a fire risk assessment on a regular basis, on premises. The idea is to identify how to prevent fire, and how to keep people safe, should fire breakout. You can look at fire hazards, people and properties at risks of fire destruction.

2. Fire Emergency Procedures/Plans: What to do if fire starts, for example having exit/escape routes. Keeping exit routes clear all the times. How to evacuate the building in the event of fire.

3. Fire Alarms: You must have fire alarms at all buildings. These are cheap devices that warns you, about fire.

4. Fire Knowledge: Know the three (3) components of fire, that is oxygen, heat and fuel.

5. Fire Fighting Equipments: Keep fire extinguishers (there are different types). Keep fire blankets etc.

6. Fire Drills: Conduct safety trainings regularly. Provide updated information about fire prevention techniques etc.

7. Check your lighting, electrical, appliances. Don't over load your electrical suckets.

8. Public places should have fire assembly points (where people can gather,in the event of fire).

Home Truth Series: (Biafran Agitators).

Last year (2014) over 50 MASSOB (Movement for the Actualization of Sovereign State of Biafra) members, were reportedly killed and dumped at the Ezu River. Till date, little or no protest(s), or international outcry by Biafran agitators worldwide. At least not any one, the author is aware off.

Last year (2014), Biafran Zionist Movement (BZM), attempted to seize the Enugu State Government House/Radio Station. Their leader Ben Onwuka (London Based) and about 13 members are currently facing treasonable charges. From my last information, the lawyer representing them is a Yoruba man. Till date, little or no protest(s), or international outcry about this, by Biafran agitators worldwide.

October 2015, over 40 people that took part, on pro Biafran protest/solidarity march for Nnamdi Kanu, at Port Harcourt are facing treasonable charges. Perhaps, these people might likely be forgotten in Jail. This protest took place about 27/10/15. Till date, little or no protest(s), or international outcry about this, by Biafran agitators worldwide.

Then came the arrest of Nnamdi Kanu, followed by series of protests. One begins to ask, why were there no protests about other Biafran agitators arrested, killed or facing treasonable charges?

Hundreds, if not thousands have died on these struggles. Igbos have split enough blood. At the same time, the author do not support the extra judicial killings of protesters by the Nigerian authorities. See a video on that https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iGhMXdTQJFk

The author will not stop any Igbo nor anyone from agitating, but by all means, do it through legal means, that is the political and judicial processes. No life is worth loosing.
